Do some Exercises: Słuchaj i zapisuj Tworzenie zdań Ukryte słowa
Tips: * A rainbow of books; A rainbow of books; Read! Reading is a great way to learn, entertain yourself, and exercise your mind. * In the ordinary elementary school situation, children of 140 IQ waste half of their time. Those above 170 IQ waste nearly all of their time. With little to do, how can these children develop power of sustained effort, respect for the task, or habits of steady work? - Leta S. Hollingworth. Think about what you're doing and whether it is worth it. Speak to teachers and head teachers if you think your education is not right for you. * Try to have gifted and non-gifted friends. Be equally friendly with them all. * Always do your best in school. * Try to find something you enjoy in the arts - dance, photography, start drawing, learn to oil paint, or listening to, composing or playing music. Many gifted students enjoy and are good at these things. If your school has a band or chorus, don't be afraid to join. Offer to help others by tutoring. * Embrace Your Intelligence. It is a gift. Warnings: * No matter how much you want to fit in, do not purposefully fail assignments or do badly in school. That is throwing away a very promising future. * Chances are, you will be master of a prodigious vocabulary and will be strikingly prone to exploiting it (notice the complicated words in this sentence). Try to keep your use of unusual words to a minimum, however. Although this may be a habit for you, complex vocabulary can sometimes confuse or alienate a friend. If your friend looks puzzled when you're talking, take a moment to explain the word you just used (in an off-hand sort of way) and try to be more careful. Just remember that your friends are also smart and know quite a bit about the world, too, even if they may not be smart in the same exact way you are. * Teachers will often ask you to do extra things to help them out. It is your right to be able to refuse to do these things, as the school will not be paying you. Try not to take on too many extra tasks at once. If you have a Scout meeting, band concert, art lesson, and sleepover in the same day, you may have a problem. Take time every so often to sit back, relax, do nothing, and just empty your mind. * Sometimes people like to tease you. You can tell them to stop politely, but if not, you can always ignore them * Do not push away your old friends. They will be very valuable to you in the future. Just because they don't have the title of gifted posted on their forehead, doesn't mean that they are not worth your time. They are all great people. You may be better than them at school but they all have their talents as well. originated by: Horses4Ever, KnowItSome, Sondra C, Rob S Source: www.wikihow.com
