All right, folks, in this clip I'm going to
teach you how to draw someone--a cartoon character
with a love struck expression. So what we'll
do is we'll move right up here to this corner.
And as always, we'll start with the eyes.
These are fairly safe cartoon eyes that I've
been showing you in this series. If you really
want to get complicated, you can obviously
draw different kinds, but for now, we're just
going to do this. So eyebrows and eyes, and
this one will be fairly normal. Nothing too
crazy going on in the eyebrows and eye section.
This is where we're going to change the love
struck thing. We're going to come in here,
we're going to draw two hearts in his eyes.
It's a little cartoon cliche, I know, but
it works. Put some eyebrows up there. And
to really, like seal the thing, make it look
interesting, we're going to come in here,
and we're going to draw kind of a wrinkly
smile on the cartoon character. That really
just makes it look kind of goofy and silly
in this case, like he's in love. Feeling a
little love struck. So yeah, obviously the
eyes and the mouth would be the defining characteristic
for this one in the whole love struck look.
Those are the two key ingredients. Eyes and
the mouth. That's what you're really looking
for in these, in all these different expressions,
is what are the key giveaways for the emotion
of the face. And in this case, it is the eyes
and the mouth. So, hopefully that's helpful.
